GET THEM OUT

There are many ways to do this, here's ours. It may not be an overnight instant fix but is is gentle, safe and effective.

1) Pick a quiet(er) time of day, perhaps cartoon time or just before bathtime.

2) Use a few ounces (50mls) of almond oil (soya or sunflower if you can't get almond) and add 25 drops of NITMIX. Rub the oil into the hair , especially the roots and wait a few minutes. Your enemy will now be trapped in the oil and be hardly able to move. Now go get em'!

3) Comb carefully through all of the hair in small bunches, wiping the comb on a tissue after every stroke. Big adult lice are easy to spot, they are the ones waving back at you! You will also get out lots of very tiny, so called, nymphs. These will be all sorts of sizes and colours, some so small they are just specks. If it 'aint hair presume it shouldn't be there and wipe it away. With this simple method you don't need to be able to spot every head louse, just work through the hair methodically and they will end up on your comb.

4) The right comb makes a big difference. We have seen plenty and for the money this is a little gem. The teeth are smooth and very close together. It will go through the thickest hair without creating knots. There's no point in making this thing into a battle with your child, the right comb helps a lot. If you need this, add it to your order, don't pay nearly $30 for similar combs elsewhere, this will do the job just fine.

5) You will get most head lice out very quickly, probably more than 95% in the first go but, in all fairness, you will miss a few, especially the nymphs. Don't worry. Go back through the hair in a couple of days later because those nymphs you missed will have grown much bigger and you won't miss them again. The trick is to catch the nymphs before they become adults and can lay their own eggs. Do this a couple of times and you will win!

6)THIS BIT IS IMPORTANT Most folks who don't succeed straight away, even using overnight wonder cures are defeated, not by pesticide resistance, but by NEW head lice climbing on their child's head the very next day. Think about it, they liked you enough yesterday, why shouldn't they like you tomorrow. The reality is you don't want them back! Not ever, NEVER!
