There hadn't been any incidences during the Autumn term and I has become lax at rinsing my 7 year olds hair. To my horror one Sunday evening he said his head itched. When I put the comb through, all stages fell out of his hair. I immediately treated as you outlined combed morning and night for a couple of days and hardly any nits fell out. I treated again to be on the safe side and he was fine. It took only 1 treatment to clear him - I think perhaps we were lucky. I now use it as a rinse 2 - 3 times per week along with the comb. Thank you. Yours sincerely D Brown J Birch As you can see, I am ordering more of your "NIT MIX" oil. I am very pleased to be able to use an effective preparation that is not full of chemicals. I have found the treatment to be pleasant and also good for the condition of hair. My daughter has long thick hair and last Summer I had previously tried three different types of chemical treatment, some of which subsequently were the subject of health warnings. Pharmacists warned me that the lice were becoming resistant to the chemical treatments but none of them warned me about the risks to health. We were seriously considering cutting her hair short until my mother saw the article about your treatment in the Telegraph. Several of my friends are now users of your product, as the problem is very widespread in Birmingham. In fact I was relieved to be able to give my friend, with three daughters, some of your safe treatment. This salved my conscience, as I am sure her children caught lice from my daughter. I must admit to not taking your advice about using the oil regularly as a preventative. I have just tried the treatment again because a friend of Kathryn's has recently caught head lice. I have managed to find one or two head lice in early stages and will be using the full treatment immediately. I would endorse the use of the oil as a preventative and will be following your advice from now on! I have been using this on my daughters hair for the past six months after having head lice twice and it seems to have prevented her getting them again.
